Dogs are known to be a great support for many people. Most people have heard of service dogs and therapy dogs, and now there are also healer dogs. But what is the difference between them?
Service dogs
Service dogs are individually trained to perform specific tasks for one person with a disability (e.g., guide a blind person). Examples include guide dogs, medical alert dogs and psychiatric service dogs. They are considered working animals, not pets, and should not be distracted while working. They are granted public access rights where other pets aren't allowed.
What service dogs help with:
Vision & Hearing: Guide blind individuals or alert people to sounds like doorbells, alarms, or crying.
Mobility: Help with physical tasks like opening doors, turning lights on/off, fetching dropped items, bracing for balance, or pulling wheelchairs.
Medical Alert: Detect oncoming seizures, low/high blood sugar, or other medical crises and alert their handler, sometimes fetching medication or help.
Psychiatric support: Provide comfort during panic attacks, wake handlers from nightmares, or create a physical barrier in crowds for those with PTSD, anxiety, or depression.
Therapy dogs
Therapy dogs are specially trained, gentle, and friendly dogs that provide comfort, affection, and emotional support to people in places like hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and disaster areas.
They work with handlers to improve mental and physical well-being by reducing stress and boosting morale. Unlike service dogs, therapy dogs work with a variety of people, offering calming interactions to those who need it.
What therapy dogs do:
Offer comfort: They provide unconditional affection and a calming presence in stressful environments.
Aid in therapy: They help with anxiety, depression, and loneliness, and can encourage patients to open up or help children with reading confidence.
Visit diverse settings: Their work includes hospitals, hospices, schools, retirement homes, and even workplaces.
Healer dogs
Healer Dogs take the support of therapy dogs beyond the physical into a gentle energetic space.
Our healer dogs are certified 4-legged QVSWPP Practitioners, carefully selected, activated and initiated to share the Quantum Vortex Scalar Wave-Photon Pulse™ (QVSWPP).
Rather than giving from their own energy, they act as pure conduits for this most benevolent frequency. This ensures sessions are safe, balanced and deeply supportive for both people and animals alike. Most importantly, as QVSWPP is All-knowing IT works where most needed by the receiver of the remote healing session.
Unique benefits of healer dogs session:
Remote and accessible: Sessions are available on demand and can be received anywhere in the world, without travel or scheduling.
Collective consciousness healing: Healing is shared by the healer dogs together, including their collective consciousness, rather than by one dog alone.
Gentle, short sessions: Ten-minute transmissions designed to suit children, animals and those who are sensitive or easily overstimulated.
For both people and animals: Supporting emotional, behavioural and energetic wellbeing for adults, children and pets alike.
